POLICE LOG for April 27: Police Receive 911 Text; Car vs. Tree; Stolen Football Cards

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 27, 2019:

  • Police received a text to 911 from a Woburn Street resident reporting 2 people were inside her house. Police responded and checked inside the residence. No signs of anyone else inside the house. (6:00am)
  • A caller reported his car jumped into gear and struck a tree on Lowell Street. (10:53am)
  • A vendor at the sports memorabilia show at the Shriners Auditorium reported football cards were stolen from his booth. (1:19pm)
  • A walk-in party reported his neighbor took his leaf blower. Police obtained leaf blower and calling party picked it up. (5:42pm)
  • Police came across a vehicle stopped in the travel lane on Main Street. Police spoke with operator. Operator was looking for an item in her pocketbook. Police advised operator to move to a safe location, like a parking lot. (6:01pm)
