WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a recent announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:
Get back to enjoying the outdoors by considering some tennis lessons for kids – they’ll learn or improve upon their game with our team of expert instructors. Here are some great options to try to fit your schedule!
Spring Tennis Lessons will run for 5 weeks on Thursdays from May 2 – 30 at the Shawsheen School Tennis Courts. Cost is $40.
- Children in Grades K – 1 will meet from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
- Children in Grades 2 – 4 will meet from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
- Children in Grades 5 – 6 will meet from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m
Tennis Clinics for Grades 6 – 8 will be held Monday – Friday, June 17 – 21 and/or August 12 – 16 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the WHS Courts. Cost is $80 each.
Summer Tennis Lessons will be offered by the week (June 24 – 28 and/or July 22 – 26), or in the evenings (Mondays for Grades 4 – 12 and Wednesdays for Grades K – 3). Check out our full schedule in our newsletter “Recreation Matters” or on our website.
