POLICE LOG for April 22: Obstacles In The Roadway; Driver Issued Summons; Hit & Run

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, April 22, 2019:

  • Police notified DPW of gravel in the roadway at Woburn Street and Park Street. (9:15am)
  • A caller reported a box of latex gloves were broken and all over the roadway at Lowell Street and Woburn Street. Police notified DPW. (12:17pm)
  • Robert J. Cavanaugh (56, Dracut) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Revoked Or Suspended Registration; No Or Expired Inspection Sticker; and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Cavanaugh was pulled over on West Street. (1:56pm)
  • A hit and run between two vehicles was reported on Hopkins Street. (5:31pm)
  • A Wilton Drive resident believed someone stole a shovel from his yard. He will follow up with a crew that was working on his septic tank earlier in the day. (9:43pm)
