POLICE LOG for April 19: Toddler Found Wandering Down Street; Teen’s Fortnight Account Hacked

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, April 19, 2019:

  • A Mack Truck was towed from Route 62 and 93 South Exit 40 ramp. Company was cited for allowing operation of a vehicle after failing safety standards. (11:21am)
  • Fire Department reported a delivery truck in the fire lane outside Woburn Medical Associates on Woburn Street was blocking the ambulance entrance. Truck was issued a parking citation and was moved. (12:30pm)
  • A caller reported a landscape truck and trailer jack-knifed on Shawsheen Avenue, blocking a lane of travel. Police responded and assisted with paperwork exchange. (1:14pm)
  • Comcast notified of a hanging wire on Middlesex Avenue. (4:23pm)
  • An anonymous party reported juveniles were riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers in the Lucci’s parking lot. Juveniles were gone by the time police arrived. (5:51pm)
  • A caller reported her son’s Fortnite account was hacked and several charges were made against her credit card. When the credit card was shut off, the person that hacked the account started to make threats. (7:51pm)
  • A caller found a toddler in a diaper wandering around the street with no parent in sight. A nearby resident claimed the child opened the door to follow a parent who had just left. Toddler was reunited with a parent. (8:26pm)
