POLICE LOG for April 13: Police Assist Minutemen On Their March; Police Help Injured Runner; Train Blocks Rte. 62

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 13, 2019:

  • Police assisted the Wilmington Minutemen on their annual march. (1:50am)
  • Police provided a male a ride back to his residence at Revere Avenue. Male injured his leg while running, but refused medical attention. (9:21am)
  • A caller reported a male walking down the tracks towards Cumberland Farms. Police were unable to locate. (1:36pm)
  • Police issued a citation for a vehicle parked in the fire lane at Market Basket. (7:30pm)
  • A Veranda Avenue resident reported a male party has been trying to get into a neighbor’s house for the past 15 minutes, tampering with the lock box. Police responded. Man was the realtor’s wife who was there to work on plumbing. (9:00pm)
  • Police noted an outbound train at the North Wilmington Commuter Rail station was blocking traffic on Middlesex Avenue. (9:19pm)
