POLICE LOG for March 26: N.H. Man Arrested For OUI; Strange Activity At Market Basket (No, Not THAT)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, March 26, 2019:

  • Lenon Leathers (28, Derry, NH) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle; and Leaving The Scene Of Property Damage. Leathers vehicle struck a guardrail at Ballardvale and 125, and continued on to Middlesex Avenue. (12:59am)
  • Police noted a Jeep Liberty in the parking lot of Red Heat Tavern that was wrapped in plastic wrap. (2:11am)
  • Police received a distress call via Sirius XM from a vehicle on Horseshoe Lane. Subscriber called to let station know it was accidental. (6:56am)
  • Public Buildings reported 4 Mitsubishi tires on chrome rims were found in the dumpster at the North Intermediate School. Tires were brought to DPW for safe keeping. (7:59am)
  • A Hathaway Road caller reported vandalism was done to his vehicle sometime overnight. (12:08pm)
  • Police received report of a male party driving slowly and acting odd in the area of Market Basket. He appeared to be casing somebody/something. (2:08pm)
  • A walk-in party reported she was driving down King Street and believes someone shot a pellet gun at her windshield. (2:25pm)
