POLICE LOG for March 8: Police Attempt To Serve Warrants; Highway Crash Sends Driver To Hospital

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, March 8, 2019:

  • Police notified DPW of a large snowbank on the corner of Forest Street and Burlington Avenue obstructing drivers’ views. (1:58am)
  • Police attempted to serve warrants to homes on Columbia Street (6:13am), Longview Road (6:20am), Summer Street (6:36am), and Baker Street (6:49am). Individuals weren’t home, no longer lived there, or didn’t come to the door.
  • Police notified DPW of a large pothole on McDonald Road near the Salem Street intersection. (6:43am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on 93 North. Fire Department transported one to Lawrence General Hospital. (2:47pm)
  • Animal Control Officer assisted Andover Police in removing rabid raccoon from an Andover home’s basement. (5:45pm)
