POLICE LOG for March 5: Shoplifting At Lucci’s; Drug Deal Witnessed?

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, March 5, 2019:

  • Police issued two citations for failure to stop at a railroad crossing on Woburn Street. (6:15pm)
  • A resident reported a male in his 20’s driving a black Nissan Maxima and a blonde woman driving a white jeep appeared to exchange what looked like marijuana at 7am on Earles Row. Caller did not get plate licenses. (7:25am)
  • Fire Department responded to smoke and a burning odor at the Xenon building on Upton Drive. (9:30am)
  • Fire Department responded to an odor of electrical burning at Planet Fitness. (10:07am)
  • Manager reported a male party was shoplifting. Police responded. Party paid for item and was issued a no trespass order. (10:27am)
  • A walk-in party reported having an issue with heat in his home. He requested assistance from Elder Affairs. Arrangements were made to have the party stay at Red Roof Inn for the evening. (4:39pm)
  • A resident at Metro at Wilmington Station left his sink on and flooded his apartment. Dispatch notified the apartment’s on-call maintenance. (10:49pm)
