WILMINGTON, MA — It is crunch time! Only about two weeks remain for you to get your nomination in for the 2019 Wilmington Good Guy Award. Nominations must be received by 5:00PM on Friday March 22, 2019. They can be mailed to the Wilmington Good Guy Committee, 9 Reed St. Wilmington MA 01887 or sent by email to: wgoodguy@verizon.net.
Tell us why this individual is so special in our Community. What makes them stand out above all others? We all know a “good guy”, male or female, when we see them. We see how they impact others, how they organize, volunteer, motivate and give of their time and talents.
We might sometimes question, “Why”? Why is this person so giving of their time and energy? What motivates them to get involved in so many community-spirited projects? How can they be recognized?
The answer is simple. They are good people. They understand the importance of giving back without expecting anything in return. They buy into the adage that they are doing something “for the good of the order”.
This is your last opportunity for this year to recognize that person. Tell us what makes them so special in our TOWN. Then join us on Friday May 10th at the Wilmington as we induct the newest Wilmington Good Guy.
Remember that a person who receives compensation as a paid employee or a person who holds political office is not eligible for the award.
