WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, March 3, 2019:

#1) Gun Show At Shriners Auditorium

Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) will host a firearm and knife show, featuring 500 tables, on Saturday, March 2, 2019, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, March 3, 2019, 9am-3pm. Participants can buy, sell and trade sporting, antique, and collectible firearms; custom and high quality knives; and various militaria. The general admission fee for adults is $12. Children 12 and under, with an adult, are free. Parking is also free. Learn more HERE. A $1-off coupon can be found HERE. The event is hosted by New Mart Promotions of Massachusetts and promoted by the NRA-affiliated Westchester Collectors Club.

#2) Breakfast Fundraiser For Veterans At Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks

The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 invites the public to a fundraiser breakfast from 8am to 11am at the Elks Lodge (777 South Street, Tewksbury). Tickets, available at the door, cost $7 per person. Eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, coffee and juice are available. The event’s proceeds will benefit Operation Finally Home, an organization which builds houses for paralyzed and handicapped veterans. Have a question about the event? #3) Wilmington Dance Academy’s Performance Team Showcase Fundraiser at Wilmington High

The Wilmington Dance Academy is holding a Performance Team Showcase at 2pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium (159 Church Street). Tickets cost $10 in advance by visiting the studio’s front desk or sending an email to wdateamfundraising@gmail.com. Tickets cost $12 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the studio’s performance teams. Event also includes a bake sale and raffles before the show and during intermission.

#4) Wilmington Town Museum Open House

The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is holding its monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. The Museum at the Col. Joshua Harnden Tavern is owned by the town and is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of the town of Wilmington. The Museum is housed in an historic 18th century tavern which is an excellent example of quality construction practices of the late 18th century. Exhibits are also on display in the adjacent late 19th century carriage house.
