POLICE LOG for February 13: Man Arrested Twice In Same Day; Plow vs. Mailbox; Car vs. Traffic Island

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, February 13, 2019:

  • Maxwell Topper Delaney (35, Arlington) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License After A DUI and No Or Inspired Inspection Sticker. Delaney was pulled over on North Street. (12:56am)
  • Police notified DPW that a snow plow damaged a mailbox on Burlington Avenue. (3:41am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred in the Savers parking lot, with one car driving onto the traffic island. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. (2:17pm)
  • When Maxwell Topper Delaney went to pick up vehicle from Forest Towing, employee realized party had an outstanding warrant. Police responded and located drugs on Delaney. Delaney (35, Arlington) was arrested on a Warrant, and for Possession of a Class A Drug and Possession of a Class B Drug. (6:26pm)
  • Police received multiple calls that gates were stuck down for disabled train on Main Street. (7:12pm)
