POLICE LOG for February 12: Lynn Man Arrested; Car vs. Mailbox; Winter Parking Ban In Effect

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 12, 2019:

• Police issued a driver a citation for defective equipment, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to inspect. Vehicle towed from Main Street and Kirk Street. (6:17am)
• Robert G. Leaver (64, Lynn) was arrested for Registration Not In Possession; No or Expired Inspection Sticker; Unlicensed Operation Of Motor Vehicle; and Motor Vehicle Operator Refusing To Identify Self/False Name. Leaver was pulled over on Main Street. (9:39am)
• A vehicle crashed into a mailbox on Aldrich Road. Police left note on residence’s door to contact station. (3:18pm)
• A caller reported 3 vehicles were parked on Arlene Avenue, impeding snow removal. Police made contact with residents to move vehicles. (5:07pm)
• A DPW truck with plow was struck by another vehicle at Main Street and Cross Street. Truck sustained no damage. Other vehicle was towed. (8:37pm)
