VIDEO: Eagle Scout Candidate Creates Video Project To Highlight Wilmington Youth Center

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Eagle Scout candidate Adam Kulis, of Troop 56, recently created a video to draw attention to the need for adult volunteers at the Wilmington Youth Center.

“We’re in desperate need of new board members,” a current board member told Kulis. “We haven’t had any for a few years. A lot of our current board members don’t have kids [in the program] anymore. At end of this year, we’re going to probably losing half of our board. If we don’t get new board members, the youth center may not be able to continue. We need new volunteers to keep the organization going.”

Kulis also stressed how much fun children (Grades 6-8) have at the Wilmington Youth Center, which features video games, basketball, pool, jukebox, foosball, refreshments, and dances.

“It’s place that lets kids be kids in a fun and safe environment,” said Kulis.
