WILMINGTON, MA — Elsie I. (Baker) McManus, age 95, a long-time resident of Somerville and Wilmington, passed away peacefully at the Nevins Nursing Center in Methuen on February 13, 2019.
Elsie was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late John Henry McManus, devoted mother of Brian McManus of Somerville, David McManus & his wife Catherine of Wilmington, Carole Hamilton & her husband Stephen of Dracut and the late John Henry McManus, Jr. Loving Nana of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Cherished daughter of the late Frederick and Olive (Wall) Baker. Elsie was the last of eight siblings and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, February 16th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours were held at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 15th from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
