POLICE LOG for February 5: Police Arrest 2 Men On Warrants; Syringe Found In Driveway

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 5, 2019:

  • Wilmington Police assisted Tewksbury Police with a shoplifting incident at 7-11 on Main Street in Tewksbury. (12:31am)
  • Anthony M. Deniso (23, Lowell) was arrested on a warrant. Deniso was arrested in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. (9:17am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash took place in front of the Registry of Motor Vehicle on Middlesex Avenue. Airbags deployed. 1 vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (10:20am)
  • Fire Department conducted a fire drill at Abundant Life. (11:00am)
  • A caller reported a syringe at the bottom of a Boutwell Street driveway. Police retrieved and disposed of at the station. (1:53pm)
  • Jason Martines Vance (33, Dracut) was arrested on a warrant. Vance was arrested after police responded to the MBTA parking lot after a caller reported a group of men was harassing him. Witnesses said the incident was a misunderstanding — the men were just talking loudly. (7:55pm)
