POLICE LOG for February 2: Mix-Up Leads To Accidental Home Invasion; Missing Son Returns Home

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, February 2, 2019:

  • A Sheridan Road caller reported a shorter Asian male entered her residence, said the number 2, heard their dog barking, and left the house. Resident stated he left in a gold colored SUV in an unknown direction. Resident took a photo of the vehicle. Police was able to locate vehicle on same street. Driver had a mix-up in addresses and mistakenly entered the wrong house. (10:20am)
  • A 2-car crash occurred at Glen Road and Brattle Street. Both vehicles towed. One driver was issued a written warning for failure to yield. (1:48pm)
  • A walk-in party reported their son was missing since 10am. He left the house and was picked up by an unknown male in the pickup truck. UPDATE: Son eventually returned to home. (3:30pm)
  • Police followed a driver who was he afraid he’d run out of gas before reaching Cumberland Farm. The vehicle safely made it to the gas station. (8:44pm)
