POLICE LOG for January 23: Car Fire; Driver Issued Summons; Car vs. Deer

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, January 23, 2019:

  • Lenis Alexander Dejesus-Garcia (24, East Providence, RI) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Or Revoked License and Motor Vehicle Lights Violation. (1:41am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout, which a child inside the vehicle, on Nichols Street. (10:19am)
  • A red pick-up truck got stuck in the median on Concord Street. AAA towed vehicle. (2:10pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a car fire in one of the bays at B&L Auto on Main Street. (2:37pm)
  • A black Kia Optima struck a deer on Burlington Avenue. Deer was able to get up and walk away. (7:59pm)
  • Police received report of several trash bags in the middle of the roadway on Concord Street. Police moved bags and notified DPW. (9:25pm)
