WILMINGTON, MA — Charles E. Peterson, age 85, of Wilmington, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away on January 22, 2019. Charles was the beloved husband of the late Shirley E. (Nunziato) Peterson, devoted father of Debbie Leone & husband Tony of Watertown, Denise Harding of St. Augustine, FL, Doreen Rich & husband Fred of Tewksbury, Cy Rousseau & wife DeeDee of Georgia and the late Charles Peterson. Loving “Papa” of Danielle, Kelly, Lori, Jenifer, Michael, Dana and Great-Grandchildren Laz, Kendall, Drew, Addison, Andrew, Samuel, Jason, Levi, Piper and Dani Rose. Cherished son of the late Evart E. and Persis H. (Ainsley) Peterson, dear brother of Constance Chepulis of North Reading, the late Ruth Kenson, Edith Peterson, Laverne Peterson, Louise Peterson, Doris Peterson, June Nickerson, Phyllis Peterson, Raymond Henderson, and Spencer Henderson, brother-in-law of Lois Bellini of Medford and James Nunziato of Lowell. Charles is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Saturday, January 26th from 10:00 – 12:00 noon immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Interment followed in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
