POLICE LOG for January 18: Man Arrested For OUI After Flipping Truck; Coyote Sighting; 14 Parking Tickets In MBTA Lot

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, January 18, 2019:

  • Police reported that the broken lock on a horse stall on Chestnut Street has been fixed and the gate is now secured. This should fix the issue of the horses getting loose. (8:51am)
  • A caller reported vandalism to a co-worker’s vehicle parked in a lot on Jonspin Road within the past 1/2 hour. (8:53am)
  • Police issued 9 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (10:44am)
  • Police responded to a road rage incident in the MBTA Parking Lot. Police were able to separate both parties and send them on their way. (12:00pm)
  • Police issued 5 more parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (12:15pm)
  • Scott T. Nelson (54, Tewksbury) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle; and Marked Lanes Violation. Nelson flipped his pick-up truck over on Adams Street. Fire Department transported Nelson to Lahey Clinic. (3:28pm)
  • A caller reported a coyote walking down the street on Wiser Street and Taplin Avenue. Animal was gone by the time Animal Control Office responded. (4:01pm)
  • A car struck a deer on Main Street. (5:34pm)
