LYNBROOK, NY — Carmel W. “Nikki” Robertson, a 60-year resident of Lynbrook, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of 63 years to Gordon H. Loving mother of Cathryn A., David C. and his wife Brenda, and Laura A. Rogers and her husband Michael. Cherished grandmother of David, Christopher, Megan, Matthew, Molly, and Ryan. Also survived by her two sisters. Carmel was an active parishioner and volunteer of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church throughout her years of living in Lynbrook. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish Social Ministry or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation was held at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home in Lynbrook, New York on Thursday, January 17 and Friday, January 18. A funeral mass at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Lynbrook, New York was held on Saturday, January 19. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town (boystown.org) or Our Lady of Peace Parish Social Ministry.
