WILMINGTON, MA — The Sarah Carter Committee has just received notice that the Sarah D.J. Carter Lecture Fund has receive a grant from the Wilmington Cultural Council, through the Massachusetts Cultural Council. This grant is very much appreciated and most definitely needed.
For 108 years, the Committee has presented free programs of entertainment to the residents of Wilmington and surrounding towns. Over the last decade, the committee has highlighted quality musical genres in concert. Each year the Middle School Auditorium is fitted with a very appreciative audience; totally enjoying a wonderful evening of music.
This grant is essential in order to keep these programs occurring. Thank you to the Wilmington Cultural Council, through the Massachusetts Cultural Council, for this grant which will assist us in our 2019 program.
