POLICE LOG for January 14: Driver Cited After Crash; Suspicious Activities Reported

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 14, 2019:

  • Police stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity on Middlesex Avenue at Federal Street. Driver was a Verizon contractor checking tower signal. (2:45am)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred at Concord Street and Woburn Street. No injuries reported. One driver was issued a summons for unlicensed operation. (2:42pm)
  • A Cunningham Street caller reported a suspicious white male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a dark hoodie, walking behind her house in the woods. Police were unable to locate. (3:29pm)
  • Police came across what appeared to be a disabled motor vehicle on Route 62, prior to the 93 South on-ramp. Driver had pulled over to adjust his GPS. Officer advised driver to get an inspection sticker. (5:37pm)
