POLICE LOG for January 4: 5 Horses Get Loose; Car Keyed After Argument?; Lowell Woman Arrested

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, January 4, 2019:

  • A caller reported five horses were loose running behind houses and in the street on Chestnut Street and Navajo Road. Police assisted with locating and returning horses. (1:21am)
  • A caller reported her husband lost his license and debit card, possibly in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. (12:22pm)
  • A tractor trailer backed into a sedan, breaking the rear window, on Main Street. Police assisted with paperwork exchange. (3:50pm)
  • A caller reported his vehicle may have been keyed after a verbal altercation at the RMV. (4:42pm)
  • Donna M. Janas (61, Lowell) was arrested on a warrant; Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License; No or Expired Inspection Sticker; and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. (5:21pm)
  • Several callers reported that railroad arms on Glen Road were activating frequently when no train is passing. Police notified Keolis. (7:03pm)
