WILMINGTON, MA — Michael J. O’Neil, age 71, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2018. Michael was the beloved partner of 34 years to Sandra Marsala, devoted father of Michelle Phung O’Neil and loving “Papa” of Sabrina all of Wilmington. Cherished son of the late Eugene J. and Carmen (Gallant) O’Neil, dear brother of Kathleen Mogan & her husband Paul, Eugene O’Neil Jr. & his wife Jane, Claire Osborne, James O’Neil and Maureen Gummeson. Michael is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Michael proudly served as an interpreter in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed for many years as a Business Analyst for Analog Devices in Wilmington.
At Michael’s request all services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
