WILMINGTON, MA — May Center School for Autism & Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington (50-E Concord Street) is holding a Job Fair on Tuesday, January 8, from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
The School is hiring Teacher Assistants, Teacher Professionals, ABA Counselors, and Lead Teachers. Register at adelossantos@mayinstitute.org.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in the areas of academics, self-care (ADLs), and vocational tasks
- Teach skill development and community integration
- Assist individuals in meeting their personal care such as toileting, bathing and assisting with nutritional needs
- Assist in behavioral interventions
- Participate in the development of IEP/ISP objectives and documenting consumer progress
- Dispense medications where applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Previous special education or human services experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis a plus
