WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, January 1, 2019:
- MBTA Commuter Rail officials requested removal of an unruly female party in her 20’s. Train stopped at Wilmington (Center) Station. Police transported her to Public Safety Building. Party’s father picked her up. (1:33am)
- Police noted a traffic island on Fordham Road appeared to have been driven over. (3:03am)
- A caller reported an envelope containing inappropriate content was dropped off to a courtesy booth worker at an unnamed Lowell Street business. (10:31am)
- A walk-in party reported a tree limb fell on his truck while driving on Concord Street. (10:38am)
- Police responded to a disturbance in the clearance section at Target. (11:47am)
- A Boutwell Street caller reported a tree fell down onto the power lines in front of his house. Wires are now hanging low. Police notified RMLD. (12:45pm)
- A caller reported they believe the person driving in front of them on Main Street is intoxicated. Driver was last seen pulling into CVS. Police responded. Driver checked OK and passed a sobriety test. (8:57pm)
