POLICE LOG for December 31: Car vs. Bicyclist On Lowell St.; Road Rage Incident; Police Assist Man In Need

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 31, 2018:

  • Police noticed a man walking around in shorts at Shawsheen Avenue and Hopkins Street. Man was looking to get back to Medford. Police drove him to Cumberland Farms and arranged for a taxi to pick him up. (12:53am)
  • A car and bicyclist were involved in an accident on Lowell Street. Bicyclist received minor injuries and refused medical attention. (9:13am)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred on Lowell Street. 2 vehicle towed. 1 driver cited for a marked lanes violation. No injuries noted. (12:33pm)
  • Police responded to a road rage incident on Shawsheen Avenue. Police gave a verbal warning to the driver of a Mercedes for falling too closely and driving without a license in their possession. (4:54pm)
  • A Glen Road caller reported her neighbor’s exterior light is flashing and is concerned. Police responded. Everything checked OK. Motion alarm is affected by weather. (9:25pm)
