WILMINGTON, MA — At its meeting earlier this month, the Wilmington School Committee unanimously accepted generous donations from the Cummings Properties and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks.
Cummings Properties made a $2,000 donation to the Wilmington High School’s DECA Program. The donation came as a result of the company’s Employee Directed Giving Program. Cummings Properties employees and Wilmington residents Michael DePierro and Shannon DePierro selected the WHS DECA program as the recipient of their donations.
Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 continued its tradition of annually donating dictionaries to each Grade 3 student at both the Shawsheen Elementary School and Woburn Street Elementary School. The dictionaries were valued at $936.00. The donation was coordinated by Mr. Harry See.
