WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, December 23, 2018:
- Police responded to a verbal altercation between a boyfriend and girlfriend during a Christmas party. Male was described as intoxicated. No party wished to pursue a criminal matter for past assault & battery. (1:25am)
- A Royal Street resident requested a phone call from the Animal Control Officer regarding his neighbor’s dog coming onto his property “to do its business.” He stated it’s an ongoing issue and they don’t clean up after the dog. (10:30am)
- A child dialed 911 playing with the phone. Police responded and confirmed no emergency with the mother. (12:15pm)
- A caller reported a domestic assault between and older male and female on the side of the road at Lowell Street and Cross Street. Both parties punched each other. Female stayed in vehicle; male was outside of it. Police responded, but were unable to locate the individuals. Police also checked residence of vehicle’s owner. (1:10pm)
- A walk-in party reported damage to his realtor sign in front of a Salem Street house. (11:40pm)
