Gift Card Drive Launched For Family Of Andrew Holowenczak

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington community is rallying around a local family who recently suffered a tragedy.

Andrzej “Andrew” Holowenczak, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday morning. He leaves behind a young daughter, Lia Mae Holowenczak, and a finance Zofia Myslinski. Lia Mae’s mother also unexpectedly passed away in 2011.

A next door neighbor of Holowenczak is collecting gift cards for the family.

“Gift cards from Market Basket, Target, local gas stations, as well as AMEX gift cards will be collected,” writes organizer Melanie Kilburn. “Send or bring to 5 Lincoln Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.”
