WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Friday, December 21, 2018:
#1) Christmas Caroling At Public Safety Building
Residents are invited to serenade the town’s police officers and firefighters with caroling from 3:30pm to 4pm at the Wilmington Public Safety Building. Come together as a community in celebration, support, and gratitude for the sacrifices Wilmington’s public safety officials make throughout the year and especially during the holiday season. For planning purposes, participants are asked to register in advance HERE.
#2) WHS Boys & Girls Basketball In Action
The Wilmington High School Girls Varsity Basketball hosts Wakefield at 5:15pm and WHS, followed by the Boys Varsity Basketball Team hosting Wakefield at 7pm. The Girls JV team hosts Wakefield at 4pm at Wilmington Middle School, followed by the Boys JV team hosting Wakefield at 5:30pm.
#3) Needleworkers
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a meeting of its Needleworkers from 10am to noon. If you do any kind of needlework, this group is for you. Bring a project and learn from others while enjoying a little conversation and camaraderie. No registration required.
#4) Bingo
The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its weekly bingo game at 1pm.
#5) Live Music, Karaoke
Joe Leary is performing at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) at 8pm. Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting karaoke from Winnell Entertainment beginning at 8pm.
