WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, December 16, 2018:
- A driver ran out of gas in the Simard’s drive-thru. Driver pushed the vehicle out of line while his girlfriend “drove.” Girlfriend drove into a curb and popped a tire. Driver will be walking to get gas and then will change tire in parking lot. (2:09am)
- Police noticed suspicious activity at St. Thomas church. All lights were on and a van was out front. Checked OK. Church was being cleaned. (2:42am)
- Fire Department responded to a fire in the kitchen at Burger King on Lowell Street. (5:26am)
- A 2-vehicle crash with airbag deployment took place at Nichols Street and Flagstaff Road. Fire Department transported an injured individual and their mother to Winchester Hospital. (3:08pm)
- A caller believed someone took her purse while in her unlocked and unattended vehicle in the Yentile Farm parking lot. (7:50pm)
