WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, December 15, 2018:
- State Police reported motorcycles were operating erratically in area of Concord Street and 93. Police unable to locate. (2:17pm)
- Police received several reports of young children playing on ice on Silver Lake. Police responded and found no children, but adults ice fishing. Adults agreed to get off ice. (3:49pm)
- A hypodermic needle was found on the sidewalk on North Street. Police retrieved for disposal. (3:50pm)
- Fire Department responded to possible brush fire on Park Street. (4:30pm)
- Police received report of young children playing unsupervised in the street on Pouliot Place. Juveniles were playing street hockey. Police spoke with an adult who watching through a window. Game was ended due to low visibility. (4:53pm)
- A caller reported she had several Macy’s bags in her trunk when she left the library. Trunk did not latch. She lost the bags somewhere between the library and Wakefield. She wanted it logged in case they were turned in. (8:18pm)
- Words were spray-painted on a Black 2009 Dodge Charger on Glen Road. Police was unable to raise anyone at the residence. (8:31pm)
