WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, December 11, 2018:
- Animal Control Officer removed an injured seagull on Ballardvale Street. (9:32am)
- A caller from a Ballardvale Street company reported a terminated employee has failed to return their company cell phone. (10:57am)
- Robert Jude Coppola (55, Billerica) was arrested for OUI Liquor (3rd Offense), Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle, Leaving Scene Of Property Damage (x2), Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Number Plate Violation, and Resisting Arrest. Coppola allegedly struck a fence and vehicle on River Street and fled the scene. (11:21am)
- Michael Joseph Domenici (28, Malden) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Registration Revoked and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. (1:02pm)
- A Morse Avenue resident reported someone tried to enter their car overnight. Police confirmed damage done by someone using a slim-jim, but vehicle was not entered and nothing was taken. (4:24pm)
- 2 vehicles struck and killed a deer on Glen Road at Brattle Street. One of the involved vehicle was a State Police cruiser. (5:15pm)
- Police notified DPW and Water Department for septic tank overflowing into the street on Woburn Street. Water was freezing over. Area was sanded. Water Department will notify septic tank company in morning. (10:33pm)
