WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, December 8, 2018:
- Police assisted Fire Department with small portable heater fire on Burnap Street. (12:58am)
- A caller complained of speeding cars on Chestnut Street. (2:12pm)
- Police noticed a vehicle parked on top of a snow bank on Main Street. Operator was advised of license status. Another individual assumed control of the vehicle. (2:33pm)
- A passerby reported a portion of Aldrich Road was iced over. A homeowner was using a sump pump. The water was unintentionally going into the street, not his backyard. He was given a verbal warning for the bylaw violation. (3:20pm)
- A walk-in party reported she was the victim of a scam on Home Advisor. (4:34pm)
