POLICE LOG for December 6: Driver Disappears With Empty Vehicle Found In Intersection; Packages Stolen From Porch

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, December 6, 2018:

  • Police noted a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 MPH on 93 North. Police was unable to get close enough to initiate a stop. Vehicle got off the highway at Exit 42 and proceeded to go approximately 70 MPH down Dascomb Road. Andover Police notified. (1:21am)
  • Police followed School Bus #5 to monitor any school bus violations. No violations found. (6:23am)
  • A West Street resident turned in three rounds of ammunition for destruction. (9:52am)
  • A Pouliot Place caller reported packages were taken off her porch on November 28. (12:31pm)
  • A caller from S.G. Torrice on Industrial Way reported an ex-wife of an employee called the location over 200 times today. (2:33pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash took place at Lowell Street and Woburn Street. Both vehicles towed. One operator was issued a citation for failure to yield. (3:20pm)
  • A black vehicle was parked in the middle of the intersection at Woburn Street and Eames Street with no one inside. Watertown Police checked driver’s residence. Woburn Police checked a friend’s residence. State Police sent K9. K9 was unable to pick up scent. Vehicle towed. BOLO issued regarding missing driver. (9:41pm)
