WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 3, 2018:
- A Woburn Street caller reported an SUV parked alongside her residence for a couple of hours. Police responded. Man fled, but was captured on/near Marcia Road. Melrose K9 assisted with locating narcotics the man tossed during the foot pursuit. Police arrested Thomas M. Lafrance (27, Fitchburg) was arrested for Trafficking In More Than 10 Grams Of Fentanyl and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense). (4:55am)
- Police noted 3/4 inch stone was spilled in the intersection of Lake Street and Shawsheen Avenue. DPW notified. (7:44am)
- The North Intermediate School’s Principal reported the donation box in the back lot was damaged sometime over the weekend. (8:04am)
- An unlocked vehicle was entered overnight on Earles Row. Tools and $300 were taken. Tools were later discovered along the fence line. (8:24am)
- A vehicle stolen from Economy Car Rental and Repair in Tewksbury was located near the ramp on 93 North, Exit 40. Vehicle towed. (10:27am)
- A caller pressed elevator emergency button at High School because button read “Press For Assistance.” Man was looking for cafeteria where his son was having a wrestling meet. (6:02pm)
- A car struck a tree on Fordham Road. Unspecified injury. Vehicle towed. Verizon notified. (8:18pm)
