POLICE LOG for November 30: Dog Gets Loose From Groomer; Christmas Lights Distract Driver

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, November 30, 2018:

  • A caller reported two white males, mid-20’s, were walking down the roadway on Glen Road and appeared to be under the influence of drugs and or alcohol. Police were unable to locate. (8:30am)
  • A groomer stated a customer’s dog got loose and was last scene running towards Tewksbury. Animal Control Officer responded. Business owner and dog owner were able to retrieve dog on Faulkner Avenue. (9:24am)
  • An erratic operator was reported all of the roadway, starting and stoping. Police pulled over at 93 on/off ramp. Situation checked OK. Operator appeared to be distracted by Christmas lights. (2:19pm)
  • A contractor reported receiving threatening text messages from the calling party listed. (9:51pm)
