POLICE LOG for November 9: Child Gets Stuck In Playground Equipment; Missing Dog Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, November 9, 2018:

  • Wilmington Animal Control Officer located a missing Tewksbury dog behind Route 38 Cafe on Main Street/Route 38. (9:55am)
  • Detail officer reported a possible transformer blew on Lowell Street. RMLD notified. (11:47am)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with a student stuck in playground equipment at the Shawsheen Elementary School. (12:14pm)
  • Police cited a driver for texting, unregistered vehicle, and no license in possession. Vehicle was pulled over after plates on vehicle did not match plates in system. Vehicle towed. (1:28pm)
  • A walk-in party reported fraudulent activity with their bank account. (4:36pm)
  • Police gave an operator a verbal warning for littering (cigarette) at Church Street and Middlesex Avenue. Operator of vehicle retrieved cigarette. (4:57pm)
