POLICE LOG for November 3: Tree Falls On Car; Fire Pit Stolen From Front Yard

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, November 3, 2018:

  • A Lowell Street resident reported a storm drain is blocking causing water to flood his basement and yard. (8:29am)
  • A Tracy Circle resident reported a fire pit was taken from the front lawn on the morning on November 1. (12:46pm)
  • 7 rounds of old ammunition were turned in for destruction. (12:49pm)
  • Police received a report of a tree down on a black 2012 Nissan Rogue on West Street. Tree came down around 49 West Street. Reading Light and Verizon pole damaged. DPW notified. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. (2:29pm)
  • A police cruiser was involved in a minor crash at Lowell Street and West Street. (4:07pm)
  • A man reported his windshield was damaged while parked at St. Thomas’s church sometime since 3:30pm. (5:22pm)
