POLICE LOG for November 1: More “Vote No On 1” Signs Stolen; Car vs. Tree

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, November 1, 2018:

  • 2 vehicles were involved on a crash on Lowell Street, near the 93 Exit 38 ramp. Both vehicles towed. No injuries reported. One driver was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way. (9:06am)
  • A caller reported “Vote No On 1” signs were stolen from his Nichols Street home and two neighboring homes overnight. (9:19am)
  • A new resident reported that she just purchased a home on Mass Ave. and there is no Wilmington DPW trash or recycling barrels at the property. DPW notified. (1:32pm)
  • An officer removed a political sign from the Whitfield School site and brought to the police station. (4:41pm)
  • A white 2019 Honda Ridgeline struck a tree on Lawrence Street. Minor injuries suffered. The vehicle was towed. (4:46pm)
