POLICE LOG for October 30: Driver Ignores Bus Stop Sign; Car Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, October 30, 2018:

  • A caller reported a blue 2013 Volkswagen Jetta ran through a bus stop sign while it was illuminated on Glen Road. (7:45am)
  • Police and Fire conducted a fire drill at the Woburn Street School. (9:58am)
  • A caller reported a male party in his mid-to-late 20’s was yelling and talking to himself in front of Starbucks on Main Street. Town Social Worker was notified and responded. (12:50pm)
  • The bus company requested an officer respond after high school-aged students were causing a disturbance on a minivan bus. Police spoke with school bus driver. Situation checked OK. (3:21pm)
  • A caller reported she saw a male party walking down the middle of the train tracks behind Elia’s. Police responded and advised male not to walk on the tracks. (9:18pm)
  • A caller reported his ex-girlfriend took his car earlier in the day and is not returning his phone calls or texts. Caller wanted to report it stolen. (10:16pm)
