POLICE LOG for October 18: Car Strikes Store; Driver Issued Summons

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, October 18, 2018:

  • Samuel Navarro-Torres (45, Methuen) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked License. Navarro-Torres was involved in a 2-vehicle crash on 93 North, Exit 38 ramp. (12:12am)
  • A caller reported his car died on him on his way home from work.  He got some help in pushing the car off of the road to in front of the Shawsheen Elementary School. Police notified A&S Towing. (5:36am)
  • A caller reported a box truck struck a tree limb on Clark Street, which was now stuck on the truck. Police notified Tree Department. Tree Department was able to remove limb. (11:59am)
  • A car struck the front of the Sherwin Williams store on Main Street. Fire and Police determined building was safe to be occupied. (5:08pm)
