POLICE LOG for October 9: Wilmington Home Burglarized, Suspect In Custody; Snake Nest Found Next To School Playground

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, October 9, 2018:

  • Kimberly Ann Cockrill (50, Portland, OR) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; Unregistered Motor Vehicle; Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Use Of Motor Vehicle Without Authority. (9:41am)
  • A Boutwell School employee reported a snake nest in field. Animal Control Officer reported snakes are in the barrier that borders the playground. Officer and DPW will remove tomorrow. Staff was made aware. (1:46pm)
  • A 36-year-old Wilmington man was placed in protective custody after a caller reported the individual was intoxicated and refused to leave the premises. (7:06pm)
  • A caller reported two males seen hopping over someone’s fence and entering another property on Dell Drive. Police responded and gave one of the men a ride to the train station. (7:30pm)
  • A Patricia Circle caller reported he just arrived home and found damage to his back door. He believes someone recently attempted to break in. Police returned to train station to speak with man they previously dropped off. (8:03pm)
  • Hector Delossantos (36, Boston) was arrested for Breaking & Entering of a Building during the Daytime to Commit a Felony (x2) and Malicious Destruction of Property (x2). This arrest occurred after a Shawsheen Avenue caller reported he just returned home and discovered his house was broken into. He described his house as “in disarray.” (8:27pm)
