WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 1, 2018:
- A resident requested traffic enforcement in the Federal Street area due to speeding vehicles. (7:44am)
- Public Buildings requested an officer take photos of a classroom window at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center after a baseball had been thrown through it and shattered it. (8:00am)
- James L. Colozzi (50, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (10:23am) [Editor’s Note: This summer, Colozzi was charged with attempting to set fire to a Wilmington group home.]
- A walk-in party located a single bullet in a family member’s belongings. They dropped off to the station for destruction. (1:34pm)
- Animal Control Officer and Conservation Commission asked DPW to remove hunting stands, feeding stations and a game camera set. (2:09pm)
- Yusef H. Bhatti (27, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Or Suspended Registration. Bhatti was pulled over on Burlington Avenue. (8:03pm)
