TEWKSBURY, MA — The Wilmington SEPAC and Tewksbury SEPAC are holding a Basic Rights in Special Education Workshop on Thursday, October 18, from 6pm to 8pm, at Tewksbury Memorial High School (320 Pleasant Street, Tewksbury).
Attendees will receive an introduction to the complex special education laws and procedures. Topics include: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Massachusetts Laws; Evaluations and Referrals; The Team Meeting; Individual Education Program (IEP) and 504 Plans; Effective Progress; Transition; Review of Important Timelines; and Strategies for Success.
