WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School’s 9/11 Memorial Committee held its annual commemoration on September 11, 2018. Committee members addressed the student body in the auditorium, giving a multimedia presentation on what happened on 9/11. Members also discussed 9/11 Day, the nation’s largest day of service. There were also short presentations in the courtyard about the school’s 9/11 Memorial and inside the library on the steel beam given from the World Trade Center that’s displayed there.
