WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, September 12, 2018:
- Police noted the traffic lights at the south end of the Wilmington Plaza were not cycling properly. Lights were reset. (11:23am)
- Police received reports a motor vehicle lockout at AL Prime with a child in the car. A party on scene was able to gain access to the vehicle before police arrived. (11:31am)
- A party reported losing his license to carry on September 4 or 5. Not sure where he lost it. A log entry was made and the records clerk was notified. (12:33pm)
- Police received report of a broken manhole cover in several pieces on Dartmouth Avenue. MassDOT & DPW notified. A metal plate and traffic barrel were temporarily placed. (1:16pm)
- Animal Control Officer responded to reports of an injured hawk on Salem Street. (3:26pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash took place on Route 62 at the 93 South Exit 40 ramp. Both vehicles towed. Both operators refused medical transport. (5:48pm)
- Police took a 55-year-old Billerica man into protective custody after he was found intoxicated and partially undressed on Shawsheen Avenue. (8:23pm)
