POLICE LOG for September 10: Drinking At Town Beach; Stuck In ATM; School Bus Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, September 10, 2018:

  • A caller reported a school bus was broken down in the middle of the West’s entryway. Bus was eventually moved and entrance was cleared. (6:59am)
  • Police notified Mass Highway of a tree hanging over the guardrail into the breakdown lane on Route 125. (11:42am)
  • Owner of D&D Mulch spoke to Animal Control Officer over concerns of rodents nesting in his mulch piles. (12:19pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported a male in his 50’s sitting in a vehicle drinking, placing empty beer cans in his trunk, in the Town Beach parking lot. Police issued a citation for an open container and has vehicle towed. Police brought man back to station to arrange for a ride. (1:37pm)
  • A caller reported they got stuck in the Eastern Bank ATM. Police were able to open the door and reattach the handle with a screwdriver. (6:00pm)
