Sky Blue FC vs. Seattle Reign:
Nobody stayed home for this action-packed game. The Sky Blue FC’s Bridget Bloom scored, getting the crowd jumping out of their seats. Outstanding offense by Madison Scanlon, Suki Harper, Callie Lamarche, Lila Rosa, and Emma Moriarty set up many scoring chances. The flawless defense of Kiera Barry, Pauline Douzepis. Mikayla Field, Alexis Wang, and Mia Constantimo provided great protection for the goalkeepers, Caitlin Barret and Julia Marra.
Utah Royals home vs. Washington Spirit:
The air was full of excitement, as the much-anticipated match between the Utah Royals and the Washington Spirit commenced. Fantastic ball skill were displayed by Kylie Afthim, Kaylee Chan, Nyla Chimwanda resulting in goals by Isabella DeOliveira, Emily Falk and Keli Tkachuk. The midfield and defensive play of Alexa Rivera, Alaina Roy, Emily Viveiros and Reighan Glover kept the Utah Royals in excellent shape. The crowd roared to their feet when Olivia Howie, Olivia Marasca and Kelsie Morrow made some spectacular saves.
Boys Grade 1 Games
Columbus Crew vs. DC United:
In what could have been confused as a World Cup game, the Columbus Crew started off strong with great offensive pressure from Levi Delleo and Tyler Shellgren. Coupled with the defensive efforts of Alki Rozopoulos, Maxwell Andrew and Jackson Pysz, their efforts made for an incredible game. Bobby King and Max Patterson scored for the home team.
